Family Title Night
Come help us solve a mystery this year at our Family Title Night, Thursday, September 25.
Have a free hot do dinner in the parking lot from 5:30 - 6:15 PM. Afterward, enjoy
a number of fun, outdoor activities for which students will apply what they learned in Math.
From 6:15 - 7:30 PM, make you way to the gym to participate in solving
The Mystery at the Governor's Mansion. The evening will conclude
around 7:45 PM. We hope your family can join us.
Prize Patrol Gives Checks
For the 13th consecutive year, the Auburn-Washburn Public Schools
Foundation Prize Patrol will travel to schools to hand-out
Classroom Grant checks to teachers. The visits will take place on
Tuesday, September 30. The Foundation typically gives away about
$30,000 in the surprise visits. The group will depart from the
Shuler Education Center at 9:00 AM.
Outdoor Classroom Crawling with Students
Tuesday is the first of six days of Science education sessions for
Auburn-Washburn first grade students. The students participate in
the "One in the Sun" Outdoor Environmental Education Program. This
program is among the many held at the district Environmental Center
throughout the year for students of all ages. The programs provide
hands-on Science learning opportunities.
District Bands to take Part in Auburn Parade
The Washburn Rural High School Marching Band and the Washburn Rural
Middle School 8th Grade Band will march in the parade at the Annual
Auburn Community Fair on Saturday October 4.
